We would like to officially welcome Bulldog Muay Thai & BJJ of Kansas, USA to the Association. Bulldog Martial Arts is headed by Coach Shawn Monday. Shawn began studying and competing in Martial Arts in 1999 and has trained extensively in both Thailand and Brazil. Shawn is a professional Muay Thai fighter and currently ranked 5th in the world by the International Kickboxing Federation. Since 2005, Shawn has shared his detailed knowledge with his students and has gone on to produce successful competitors in both Muay Thai and BJJ.

Daniel will be conducting a training seminar followed by Belt Promotions on Saturday September 8th 2012. The Seminar will held at Central Combat Sports in Windsor Ontario and will begin at 1:00pm. Belt promotion ceremony begins at 4:00pm. The seminar cost is $70 pre-registration or $100 at the door.

We would like to officially welcome Extreme Impact Martial Arts of Gold Coast, Australia to the Association. Extreme Impact is headed by Coach Troy Manning who began studying Martial Arts in 1997 and has even worked as a personal protection specialist for many entertainers and international celebrities. Since opening its doors in 2007, Extreme Impact has produced state and Pan-Pacific medalists in BJJ competition, which is a true testament to the effectiveness of Troy’s coaching and experience.

We would like to officially welcome Clinch MMA and Fitness of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada to the Association. Clinch MMA and Fitness is headed by lifetime martial artist, Coach Sal “Snickerz” Ram. Sal been involved with martial arts since the age of seven and has competed in Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA and BJJ. Sal is true martial artist with an impressive skill-set and incredible passion for learning and sharing his knowledge with his students and community.

Daniel will be attending UFC on FX 4 to corner MMA Masters’ fighter and title contender, Ricardo “The Bully” Lamas as he takes on Japanese submission specialist, Hatsu Hioki.

Daniel will be conducting a seminar on May 5th 2012, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and will be hosted by Toronto No Gi. $65 for Association Members, $75 pre-registration, $100 at the door. Click HERE to register for this event. All are welcome.

Daniel will be conducting a seminar on March 10th 2012 at Octagon MMA in Dallas, Texas. The seminar will run from 1pm to 3pm. The fee is $50 for Octagon MMA members and $75 for non-members. All are welcome.

We would like to officially welcome Para Bellum MMA of Oakville, Ontario, Canada to the Association. Para Bellum MMA is headed by long-time MMA and grappling veteran Coach Rory McDonell. Rory has spent over a decade on the mats competing as a collegiate wrestler (national champion), an international no-gi jiu-jitsu competitor and MMA fighter. Rory is an outstanding instructor with an incredible work-ethic and amazing attention to detail.

On December 11th 2011, not only did Luis “Baboon” Palomino easily defeat Pride FC and Elite XC veteran Charles “Crazy Horse” Bennett by first round knockout at CFA 4, but he was also promoted that day to the rank of Black Belt by Sensei Daniel.

Congratulations to Ricardo Lamas for his UFC Submission victory over BJJ Black Belt Cub Swanson. Ricardo finished the fight via head-arm choke to earn himself the Submission of the Night bonus and a promotion to Brown Belt from Sensei Daniel!

We would like to officially welcome Supreme MMA of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada to the Association. Supreme MMA is headed by 2X Canadian MMA Champion, John Fraser. John is a fantastic instructor that brings a lifetime of knowledge and first-hand experience to the table.

Daniel will be conducting a training seminar followed by Belt Promotions on Saturday September 24th 2011. The Seminar will held at Central Combat Sports in Windsor Ontario and will begin at 12:00pm. The seminar cost is $50.

Daniel will be attending UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro Brazil to support his good friends, Anderson “The Spider” Silva and Antonio “Minotauro” Nogueira. Anderson will be defending his Middleweight title for the 9th straight time against Yushin Okami from Japan, while Minotauro will be taking on Brendan Schaub.

Daniel will be attending UFC Live 4 – Kongo vs Barry to corner MMA Masters’ fighter, Ricardo “The Bully” Lamas as he takes on Matt Grice.

Daniel will be cornering MMA Masters’ fighter and coach, Luis “Baboon” Palomino, a 4-time world champion, at Bellator Summer Series Featherweight Tournament. Palomino, a Bellator veteran is on a 3 fight win streak. He will be facing Pat Curran on June 25th live on MTV2 from the Seminole Hardrock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Florida.
